Inspired by Dean Martin and Julio Iglesias, this romantic crooner has tantalized audiences as a headliner and opening acts for thirty major Artists, including Andrea Bocelli.
Born and raised in Sanremo, Italy, Franco started his musical career at the age of six attending catholic school and discovering his true potential while singing in the church choir.
In 1999 Franco had the privilege to open for International Superstar Andrea Bocelli at the prestigious Italian Music Festival in Sanremo, Italy, where he performed the love song “Caruso” written and composed by Italian singer Lucio Dalla.
As a performer, Franco came for the first time to the United States in 2001 when he was invited to perform for Donald Trump in his Palm Beach Residence: Mar-a-Lago. The overwhelming and enthusiastic response from his audience convinced Franco that the United States was the place to develop his career.
His debut Album “Passione” is a collection of some of the world’s most famous romantic and classic Italian-American love songs. Songs like “Il Mio Mondo” (You’re My World) and “Amore Scusami” (My Love Forgive Me) showcase Franco’s vocal range from soft timbre to full bravado. The timeless classic “You Don’t Have To Say You Love me” originally from Dusty Springfield adds an element of mainstream sensibility.
One of Franco’s most appealing qualities in his Music is the ability to perform every song both in Italian and English. Whether singing accappella, backed by a band or an orchestra, Franco believes in connecting with his audience.
Enthusiastically supported by his fan base and rave reviews, not only has Franco performed to sold out audiences in major Theatres, Hotels and Casinos in the United States and Canada, but he has also given performances to Italian dignitaries including Sophia Loren, Gina Lollobrigida and Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi.
Franco’s second album: “Amore” was released in May 28th 2009. Two of the many standout songs included in the Album are the new versions of: “My Way” and “You Raise Me Up”, both performed in Italian and English.
Considered one of the great voices in contemporary music today, Franco is an accomplished recording artist. His 3rd Album “Italiano" is a remarkable collection of classic Italian songs.
